Joe Meek

I strongly recommend watching this documentary of Joe Meek, a revolutionary tone-deaf music producer. He was a paranoid gay drug addict who finally shot himself with a shotgun. I am yet to see the bigger budget, Telstar, which was released last year.

During the film I noticed a resemblance between these two acts. I had no idea Jack the Ripper was a cover song.

Later I noticed Crawdaddy Simone was also a cover. I know nothing about music.

No wonder I didn't become an ice hockey player when I was dressed in these as a kid.

Boethian Wheel

C: COCAINE

Nothing gets a lady to come up to your house more quickly than an eight ball. Nothing makes her more likely to receive your kiss and you more likely to have balls enough to deliver it. The problem is you have to do at least four lines and three songs before you can bust a move and that is not exactly a recipe for an erect penis. Just multiply Shakespeare’s line, “It provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance,” by about a thousand. You’d be an asshole not to have Viagra hanging around, but most of us are assholes, so fuck it, you try to feed it in there like a piece of wet spaghetti. Once it’s two-thirds of the way in, you start “rabbit fucking,” hoping the friction will bring it to life, but alas, her vagina poos it out like a sad worm getting voted off Survivor. The worst part is, if you don’t get a second chance, she tells all her friends and you are forever known in girl land as “Sad Arthur” (or whatever your actual name is).

I'll be the lumberjack, you’ll be the tree

I don't really buy music anymore. Therefore, I thought it's almost worth mentioning when I do!

Nickel Eye: The Time of the Assassins

Nickel Eye is the solo project of Nikolai Fraiture, the bassist of the Strokes. The album was released a few months ago, but it hasn't become too popular. This is mostly due to the Strokes' reunion which means Nikolai's been busy with recording new material with them instead of promoting this. Great album, it's good to know that there's at least one of the Strokes who can go solo in the end.. referring to Albert Hammond's solo albums and random tracks Julian Casablancas has featured in.

This is the single, think I've heard it at least 40 times by now. For me, that's a lot. I usually get bored very easily. What suprises me the most is how well Nikolai uses the monotone singing voice associated with Julian, it's almost more Strokesy than in Strokes' third album!

Jenny Wilson: Hardships

The Swedish daycare centre milf releases her second album.

Agaskodo Teliverek: Psycho Goulash

Recommended to me buy Riina's London entourage. If you get a headache from listening to Battles, Deerhoof etc, don't bother. Doesn't fit most moods a normal human being goes through but when you're buzzing and have endless spring energy in your veins and are going to enjoy a walk outside, it's perfect.

OWN NOTE: Go for a walk. (I must be pale as a zombie, an endless flood of essays and exams has kept me indoors for a month. Painful.)

Sin Fang Bous: Clangour

Another solo project, this time it's Sindri Mar Sigfusson from Seabear. I have to say I prefer this to Seabear. For shy geeks.

Apologies to Riina

Nothing happening in my life, too much uni work!

Saying that, there was a woman shouting "Ben" in the middle of the night in our garden for 15 minutes. My solution: earplugs. Ken's: throw an egg at her.
